This would work great in a Blendtec Twister Jar, for anyone who has one of those. Those plastic black "tongs" in your Nutramilk machine look almost exactly like that the lid has attached to it on the "Twister Jar"! (Blendtec stopped selling them and they are exceedingly hard to find now. My guess the reason they discontinued it was because they failed to offer a lid that would keep liquids from splashing all over the kitchen, counting on consumers to realize that the jar was really just meant for more solid ingredients, as in making nut butters — or applesauce.) So glad to see you incorporating a lot of raw vegan dishes. Although I doubt I will ever go all-raw again, I do believe that raw foods can be super beneficial, especially since they are so full of enzymes. I remember in the late '60s or early '70s Adele Davis's books were a big hit, where she warned a lot against high-temperature cooking, as it drains the food of so many nutrients. That was the beginning of my education on healthful food and even though I cook a LOT these days, I always go for the LOW and SLOW in cooking. I housemate loves the pressure cooker of her Multipot, but I will never use it that way. I love the slow cooker on her Multipot though, and always set it on WARM for the slow cook. Cooking oat groats for instance are simply overnight that way, if you start them around 7:00 p.m. and have them cook for 12 to 14 hours. YUMMY too!

I actually did make raw applesauce just the other day in my Vitamix :)! Now I kinda wish I had made it in my food processor, haha! Not that it was bad in my Vitamix though 🙂 but the texture looks great!
