The hunt is ON!
Tomatillos + Canada = sadness 😢.
So. Did anyone else realize when he put the onions in the pot, he said tomato in there or is it only me? Lol love your videos an they made me start cooking more. Thank you for all the info that you share in your videos as well.
3:45 someones thinking about 'cans'
random question, Who does the grocery shopping in your house? you, your wife or both?
I like how he uses the bench scraper to scoop the peppers even though the cleaver is bigger
Drops onion in pot
“Tomato in there”
Does anyone agree that Kenji's voice is remarkably similar to CGP Grey's ? Even the intonations and phrasing.
Pressure cookers ! Yea!b The microwave of the '30's
All Asians know what a pressure cooker 😂😂 no need of science behind it , love your vids
omg just catching up and YUM!
I just made this and I don't understand how it's possible that it's this good. I'm in shock. Thanks for an awesome recipe!
Alliums like onions and garlic are toxic for dogs, so not feeding them is probably for the best!
This is the same technique my Mum used my whole childhood for pressure cooking flavourful meat – we don’t add water or stock in Indian cooking, we fry up the meat for colour, then add salt right before locking the pressure cooker. The meat releases stock, and everything is braised in that liquid. And, we always use bone-in pieces, for better flavour.
Kenji, what brand is the chopping block you have over your counter top, also how do you care for it? just rinse it in the sink and oil it every once in a while? thanks
Ohhh enchilada video?
Kenji's new neighbors: "Why does this guy keep coming over to the window like he's showing off his food and then taking a bite like it's some kind of power move?"
Does anyone else get Tammy vibes at the very beginning?
Ive never had my tomatillos peel that easy damn, did you soak them or something before peeling?? Or maybe that's the difference between the ones we get fresh here in NE
You make my mouth water every time! Keep it up!
I see Kenji has discovered QFC produce quality.
I own an instant pot but I only use it to cook rice :/
Hey I'm a college student who doesn't own a pressure cooker, can I make this in a pot on my stove top?
Why don't you just use your cleaver to scoop the veg instead of the bench scraper?
The itchy shovel infrequently suit because intestine lilly turn per a fluttering appendix. sophisticated, fluffy japan
I made this tonight and it was awesome. Absolutely delicious. Easy to make, too. Going to keep this one to make again.
I like your real and lived in looking kitchen.
Damn that sink is nice
Kenji, you mention at one point that you could make this into a soup by adding some white beans to it. At what point in the cooking process would you add the beans?
ok now I need an insta pot, that looks to good.
Crazy how good this was! Even if it took hours, it would be stupid good. Thank you for including stovetop pressure cooking guidance in your video.
Came for the tasty looking recipe, stayed for the "guys, gals and nonbinary pals"
It's not much but it feels nice
when would i add the beans to make this a bowl chili? before or after pressure cooking?
I love how you always emphasize how people don't need to follow recipes exactly to make a dish. It gives people reassurance that they practically can do just about whatever is best for them. I know it's a pretty common sense thing in the end if you know how to cook, but there are people out there who're nervous about getting into cooking despite how rewarding it is.
Hi Kenji! What's the oval aluminum plate called, you grab it at 16:20? I've seen them in BA test kitchen videos but google has brought me nowhere.
You talk too much…..
Kenji, this is one of my favorite recipes of yours. I made it two years ago for a small office chili competition, and it won. Great to see a video for it. It's damn good.
Cool video! What knife are you using? ThNks!
Made this last night and it’s so amazing. Just using the latent water from the food made a stew that was so incredibly flavorful. I cut down on the spice a bit for my 18 month old but she was obsessed! I constantly go back to your post about feeding Alicia and it makes me so happy when she tries and loves food with flavors from around the world.
Why did he not put the pepper stem in the trash with everything else?
Made this tonight!! Awesome 👍🏽👍🏽
how do I do dis without a pressure thingy?
What would be the best way to add white beans to this to make it more hardy? Add them in after everything is blended and simmer them for a little while?
looks like you used the same wooden spoon to mix your raw chicken and to shred your cooked chicken. assuming you washed it in between use?
