You seem to be a cool couple. How did you have so many fails using the Instant Pot? I found it nearly foolproof; I've had mine for a year and haven't had a single f*up. I've never even glanced at the instructions or the recipe book; that's not to say I am awesome but its that easy.

Interesting technique but too much canned and dried ingredients. Fresh is fresh! You will take your skills to another level once you ditch canned cream of whatever soups and the use of corn starch in general. I have faith in you guys; you can make this without the shortcuts (the pressure cooker is the only shortcut you need). Cut against the grain is Elena Simon mentioned and go with a shorter cooking time to avoid grey meat!

I’m old school, just meat, gravy and the best part Yorkshire pudding done in muffin tins. I also cut it opposite of you. 10 mins for spuds was great thought. Thanks for the lesson.

Great product>>>ur2.pl/1035 i've had earlier versions of electric pressure cookers and either sent one back and donated the other. They were clunky, heavy and not user friendly. I saw a demo on this one and decided to give it another try. There is a small learning curve but, so far, I'm impressed and very happy with the purchase. It's quick, easy and the clean up is a breeze.

Hi Kimmie and Deric (not sure I am spelling your husband's name correctly) but I made this recipe last night and it turned out delicious. Fabulous flavor! The only difference I made was parsnips and carrots instead of potatoes but delish either way. Thank you!

    Hi Kimmy,
I got one for Xmas from my daughter
Made a corn beef for St. Patty's came out pretty good.
Just made a pot roast tonight, had a little trouble with the lid this
time. Set for 60 minutes, it came to pressure but didn't count down.
Just left it on and it was tender.
    Maybe I needed more water?

I have a killer recipe for roast. One packet of ranch seasoning, one packet of italian seasoning and one packet of brown gravy mix. Mix all three packets with one cup of beef broth and pour it over the roast in the insta pot. Cook for the same amount of time. It is absolute heaven!! I just pour the liquid out and make a quick gravy out of it, Im telling you its absolute heaven!

Not to burst your bubble, but this is artificially flavored with MSG from the onion soup mix, the canned mushroom soup and probably even the beef broth. There are lots of other ways to get the natural flavor of the beef. MSG gives me and lots of other people irregular heart rhythms, migraines and other serious problems. ps: Like most people I was raised on food flavored with MSG and now as an adult I've developed health problems because of it.
