I just started following you. Iโ€™m considering going vegan or at least 80 plant based. As well Iโ€™m trying to replace my kids and husbands favourite dishes with healthy alternatives. Just made this Mac and cheese and they absolutely loved it even preferred it to traditional Mac and cheese!!! Thank you so much for the recipe and all your posts etc. ๐Ÿฅฐ

HI. Can this be frozen? I am the only WFPB eater so it is always way too much food. Love your videos. I made a mistake in my Nutritional Yeast order and then lost the receipt. I didnโ€™t want to hassle trying to send it back and would be more than glad to give it you. Where are you guys located? The yeast is from Gloriously Vegan and it is very good quality. I wound up with ten bags and have found homes for most of it. I would so donate it as it is a loss for me. It taught me to check that order very very carefully Iโ€™ll tell ya. I know that we are about to set into the holidays, so probably not the best time to mail, so maybe after. I can be reached at Seashll9@gmail.com. Have a wonderful holiday!!

Great recipe video and there's nothing better than home made Vegan Mac and Cheese. I like it with either red or green chillies added. I made a version called Hulk Mac and Cheese with spinach but you could substitute with kale or broccoli.

I made this and I faked out my son! He said I finally made something good for dinner.
The only thing I did was added one more tablespoon of nut yeast, a dash of red chili flakes, and a dash of Tampatio hot sauce. So yummy!

Britt, I am thoroughly enjoying your channel! I learned recently that I need to stay away from Nightshades (tomatoes, tomatillos, bell peppers, most chili peppers, even white potatoes – I do eat those in small quantities tho!, and the like) due to painful eczema flare-ups, bell peppers kill me and my skin reacts right away. What kind of substitute can I use for the steamed red bell pepper? Maybe 1/2 of a steamed carrot and some ground mustard or mustard powder? I grew up on mac-n-cheese and have been dying to try a good WFPB recipe for it and yours is different than most, so I am excited to try it! Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

Ok! Made this for dinner last night and it is by far, the creamiest, best tasting plant based mac and cheese we've eaten. And we have tried many! I baked it and also roasted my own red bell pepper because I had no jarred in my pantry. Thank you so much for the video and recipe.

I made this using 3T of tapioca instead of 6. I also added 3/4 cup water to thin out a bit and a teasp. of smoked paprika. The sauce thickens after sitting so this worked out to be a good consistency for me. I put panko breadcrumbs on the top and a few of those fried onion things that you make green bean casserole with since I had an open container in my pantry. Not compliant I know but used very few. Baked a 350 covered for 25 minutes and then uncovered for an additional 5 minutes to brown up. Also think I may tone down the garlic and onion powder to 1 T each. Going to make wraps with my mac and cheese with beans and romaine, maybe some barbecue sauce for dipping.

Made this tonight. It will now be my go to mac & cheese recipe. So easy! I was worried about adding so much garlic powder, but followed the recipe with great results. Mixed in some cauliflower and broccoli as well.

Hello there, so I just tried the recipe and it didn't turn out thick for some reason. The only difference was I used the blender that I had which is around $100 or less Ninja blender with one pulse button. So I don't know if a nicer high speed blender makes the difference? My sauce was textured with small chunks of nuts I could see pretty easily. I over heated the sauce in the pan to see if it would thicken and I went like almost 10 min, still watery.
