I love pressure cooking beans. I usually add minced garlic and chopped onion, can of rotel tomatoes, touch of maple syrup, and veggie broth instead of water. I’ve also added some ginger for a difference too. So glad I discovered your channel. Can’t wait to try many of you recipes.

My favorite new kitchen appliance.>>>ur2.pl/1046 Between this and my air fryer you practically can cook everything. I love that you can sear meat and then pressure cook it rather that dirty another pan searing and adding to a crock pot. I have already given out many as gifts. It’s the perfect wedding, new baby, and off to college gift!

Don't know what I am doing wrong. About 15 min into cooking the burnt message came on. I put in the exact amounts stated, 1 cup dry beans and 4 cups water along with the spices. I am not having much luck with my new instant pot as everyone else seems to be having.

Love that Richmond, VA has a vegan you tuber! The last time I made black beans in the instant pot I did a quick release and I had bean juice all over my kitchen! It was a mess to clean up. I guess you didn’t have that issue with the pinto beans? I need to get into the habit of cooking from dry beans – mostly to save money & cut down on the sodium. Thanks for the video!

We forgot to soak our beans last night, but wanted spicy beans today for our kids coming over for dinner. Guess I know what we'll be making! (This will be the first time we didn't soak our beans overnight, so I'm anxious to see how they turn out!)
