I learned another tip to add 2 tbsp vinegar to the cooking water to help draw the minerals from the bones.

Used to you could get beef and chicken bones from the butcher for free, but every since bone broth became the latest health fad, they charge an arm and a leg for bones. I love some good bone broth!
