I really want to make a vegan 酸辣汤 . Any recipes?
Please do greens Month because I know there are waaay more than 7.
Great video but it would've been complete if you talked about the different kinds of sauces we can make
My daughter wants hot pot for her 22nd birthday on Sunday. For her gift, I bought her a divided electric hot pot and extra long chopsticks, so now all I have to do is find ingredients. sigh Where I live, getting Asian food is challenging. We'll just do the best we can! Unfortunately, due to COVID, I can't invite anybody outside of our immediate family 🙁
Hey, I've been living in HK for a while now as a vegan and I can say that for anyone feeling lazy: just use soya milk. You don't have to add anything. Just Soy Milk on its own works really well – I have done it 10+ times and even my omni friends are impressed!
my favorite thing to put in hot pot is frozen tofu:-)
The name of the veggies she couldn't think of is called water spinach
That green one name is : SWAMP CABAGE. In Philippines it’s called “ KANGKONG”.
Thank you so much for sharing your video I love it and absolutely will do the same procedure for my HOT POT party on the 27th of this month.
Vegan 🌱 Hot Pots are my Favorite
Every time !!!!!!!
A tip: precook the sweet potato noodles then put them in a bowl of cold water to prevent sticking. All you have to do is take a little bit using tongs preferably and dip the noodles in the stock to bring it back to temperature, and you won't have to deal with timing the noodles or trying to fish for it.
I like to peel the string off the celery sticks and bokchoy,Cause it looks like parasites and it scares me
I just found your channel, and I'm beyond excited! Been vegan 5 years now and I'm looking to eat more traditional chinese like my mother cooks, but healthy and vegan! More low oil and veg recipes pls <3 <3 <3
Where does one get vegan pork broth
Jó lenne magyar szöveggel.
Vegan pork broth? Wut
I made this tonight for dinner! I thought it was going to be easy and clean but I let my pot boil over a few times -__- The soymilk broth was delicious (and actually way better than I was expecting). Thanks for all the good recipes!
Yes go over some Asian greens
Vegan hello from Taiwan :DDD
Soooooo happy I came across this channel and super excited to try all the recipes!!! Love the idea of a weekly veggie intro 🙂
I will need to be daring and try a Soy Milk based soup one day. 😱 I was waiting for you to cut open that Buternut Squash in the background. 😋
I definitely have to give the soy milk version a try. I normally go with Sichuan style but sadly not everyone shares my love for all things spicy.
Love yr video❤️
this looks like something that would be great for a cozy night at home.
I love the January green-a-day idea!
This video is super – thank you so much! I am so sad I never got the chance to try hot-pot due to my being vegan and only knowing meat eaters. Maybe one day 🙂 I would really would love to see you do Chinese greens – I love them! 🙂
Thanks for the video! I’ve been making a lot of soups lately and trying to come up with new ingredients to try. I would love to hear more about Asian greens!!
Yes for greens week! I'm actually interested in ordering the seeds online for some some of the Asian greens I can't typically find here so I can grow them in my garden.
Awesome tips and pointers in this video!! I will for sure use your recipe the next time I eat hotpot! My family makes regular meat hotpot, but our hotpot also has that cool divider thing. Last time I was super lazy and just used veggie broth, and it was so unsatisfying, haha. Can't wait to try these out 🙂
Yes. School me on greens please!👌
Chrysanthemum greens (tong ho choy) are my FAVORITE greens for hot pot. They just go so well with everything else. Favorite noodles are potato starch noodles. We eat hot pot basically every week in the winter.
Perfect for the cold winter season!
YEEEES greens week! <3<3
Fab! 🌟👌🍲
