Did you thaw your frozen hash browns? It wasn’t mentioned and I can’t tell by watching or reading the recipe….I make something similar with gator tots, a midwest ‘ hotdish’ I learned from my late mother in law

The spiral sliced ham I bought was way too large for my IP, so I had to cut hunks of it off and put it in the IP. I then followed your directions exactly. Anyway the ham was dried out towards the top of the IP(like leather) and the bottom of the ham was soaked in the water/honey mixture. It turned out terrible! My family hated it! I don't plan a cooking a ham in the IP ever again.

That’s very close to the Watergate salad I just made for Christmas. I used crushed pineapple, & no bananas. It’s a great dessert to make the night before (melts the marshmallows a bit- yum!), & makes a good dip for vanilla wafer cookies or peeled sliced apples.

We have been making this recipe for many years, I got it from my husbands family. However, we mix the potatoes with all the same ingredients in a stand mixer and then put it all in the 9 x 13 pan. And we use corn flakes on top with real butter!! My kids love these! never heard them called that before though!! Love the tip for making ham. Love your videos.

My kitchens were always separated from the family room, and I did not like being away from the family on Christmas, so we did not have "dinner" on Christmas day. In the morning, while the boys went through their stockings, I set out trays of veggies, meats and cheeses, and assorted crackers. We also had chips and cheese (chili con queso) and little smokies in crock-pots. After the food was set out we opened presents. We grazed all day long. Early afternoon, the pies and cookies were set out. We also had sparkling cider, egg nog, and hot chocolate available.
