Great recipe, and very close to the original concept of Brunswick stew – most importantly that you use already cooked barbecue meat! One critique is that okra can be an overpowering flavor, I like it but it can dominate the flavor beyond what traditional Brunswick stew tastes like. Double thumbs up (if it were possible) to this being pork and poultry, and not beef.

Yeah, Brunswick stew isn't the same without the Okra,Shoe Peg white corn and Lima beans. I prefer mine with my veggies in tact and not blended until no longer recognizable. Yours looks amazing. Thanks for the recipe.

Great video, great job, that stew looks great I would love to taste it I'm sure it tastes good. My grandfather and grandmother used to make Brunswick Stew in a large cast iron wash pot and can it in quart jars. During WW2 they bought a canner that used metal cans so they could send food to my Father who was in the Pacific with the 1st Marine division one. One of the items they sent was Brunswick Stew which he shared with his brothers. Thanks for sharing.

You should've dropped an atom bomb clip when you dropped Kents spices. πŸ‘πŸ½

Question: How long does your mic battery last and do you get notified when it's running low?
