Thanks Becky for all of your recipes. When I make beef stew I add garlic and a bay leaf, and I always seeve it with fresh made biscuits and butter. I thicken mine just like you do, but I prefer to use canned beef stock rather than water.

I love watching your videos and your recipes all look delicious. I appreciate you giving the gospel in your videos. The verse … For God so loved the world…is actually John 3:16, not
    1 John 3:16.

I coat my beef stew cubes in seasoned flour and then saute' the beef till browned. The flour thickens the stew as it cooks. You can coat the beef in seasoned cornstarch as well.

I've always found stew meat to be tough, and found receipts that said dredge it in flour to keep tender and for thickening for the gravy, haven't any luck with this, so will try your receipt. Looks fantastic 👍.

I like your recipes! On my beef stew/soup, I put some taters in early to sacrifice them to the stew/soup and thicken it up instead of flour or corn starch. This seems to work for me. Also if you read the Bible, you should always read a study Bible!

I was taught to put flour with my seasonings in a brown paper bag, now I use a gallon size Ziploc bag, and put my stew meat in the bag, shake it all up, then put the meat only in hot oil to brown the beef first. After browning I was then taught to start layering in the veggies. But then, I'm in my 70's so it was a different time! Love the way you witness at the end of the video though. That part was missing from my childhood kitchen! God bless you and your lovely family.

Great video, also love the Bible verse at the end. A lot of people I know think their going to heaven because their good, That would make Jesus death on the cross worthless then.

I love your channel!  Your tips and menus are so much like what the older women in my family did, so many years ago!!  I am having a good time reliving some old memories.  I have made some stew like this, with adding some green beans and corn.  Such a good looking dish.  Again, I love all that you put into your shows and recipes!  <3

I always buy London broils when they are on sale to make stew with because buying stew beef is from all over the animal and all uneven cuts. using a London broil I can use more beef and know exactly what kind it is and cut it up in the sizes I want it to be. they are also much cheaper than stew beef when they are on sale. this stew looks so yummy! we're due for some cooler weather the end of the week and I have some London broil. 😋
