In the Fall of 1944, my granny became the proud owner of a large, healthy Heifer. She couldn’t afford to buy a cow or any portion of one. To make matters worse, …
My mom used to cook a roast in the crockpot, then shred her meat, add vegetables, we always ate ours over rice.. we never liked the chunky meat in our beef stew..
I cook mine exactly like you, but I add a can of tomato sauce the last half hour.
God bless you for sharing your faith in Our Lord Jesus!! Oh how precious!! I love your videos, too!! Thank you for sharing your faith & your videos!!
I'm pretty new to your channel and wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your channel. Your cooking reminds me of my moms. Thank you for being so down to earth
Great channel, thank you😍🥰🧐.
Input crushed tomatoes in my beef stew. It's the only way I ever had it growing up!
Thanks Becky for all of your recipes. When I make beef stew I add garlic and a bay leaf, and I always seeve it with fresh made biscuits and butter. I thicken mine just like you do, but I prefer to use canned beef stock rather than water.
you don't brown your meat first, with flour on the outside?
I love watching your videos and your recipes all look delicious. I appreciate you giving the gospel in your videos. The verse … For God so loved the world…is actually John 3:16, not
1 John 3:16.
Looks good! God bless you and your family.
I coat my beef stew cubes in seasoned flour and then saute' the beef till browned. The flour thickens the stew as it cooks. You can coat the beef in seasoned cornstarch as well.
Made this for my husband for supper tonight and it's all gone. It was very good and easy as you said. Just wanted to let you know and thank you again for all your hard work a and your cooking style! God is great and may he continue to bless you and your family always as well as us all of your viewers!
Is it okay to add peas? Canned or Frozen?
I've always found stew meat to be tough, and found receipts that said dredge it in flour to keep tender and for thickening for the gravy, haven't any luck with this, so will try your receipt. Looks fantastic 👍.
pour over home made biscuits
Finally someone gets it , real stew without all the ridiculous junk , top effort.
Your beet stew is the simple one that I seen on Facebook and it looks so yummy so I’m going try it tonight for supper God Bless you and your family and thanks for sharing this
Thank you for beautiful message
I like your recipes! On my beef stew/soup, I put some taters in early to sacrifice them to the stew/soup and thicken it up instead of flour or corn starch. This seems to work for me. Also if you read the Bible, you should always read a study Bible!
I was taught to put flour with my seasonings in a brown paper bag, now I use a gallon size Ziploc bag, and put my stew meat in the bag, shake it all up, then put the meat only in hot oil to brown the beef first. After browning I was then taught to start layering in the veggies. But then, I'm in my 70's so it was a different time! Love the way you witness at the end of the video though. That part was missing from my childhood kitchen! God bless you and your lovely family.
Your nice!
If you do not put a couple of stalks of celery in your beef stew it just will not taste right. That is what makes beef stew taste correct; carrots and celery. That is it.
I will try this.
I really appreciate your recipe. It’s without salty stock, no overuse of grease! I’m trying to lose weight. This is that perfect recipe for me’
Thank you for all you do! I do appreciate your efforts!
Great video, also love the Bible verse at the end. A lot of people I know think their going to heaven because their good, That would make Jesus death on the cross worthless then.
Thanks for the recipe! I like to see new ideas that are healthy! Thanks…
You just made me wicked hungry!
Thank u
I just love them Taders!
I love beef stew with cornbread. Thanks for the post!
What is a “tater” I can’t find them at my grocery store🤔
I always add beef broth, it gives it a really good flavor. Every time I make it my husband says, this is the best beef stew you’ve ever made 😆 I also add green beans and corn.
Becky you are a great story teller. I felt like I was right there with granny. Love the dish too. I always finish your videos waiting to hear what word from God you have for us. Thank you and God bless.
I LOVE IT WHEN YOU ADD BIBLE VERSUS
I love your cooking tips but even more than that I love your Christian values. Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. I hope that those that watch your videos will be saved through the message you give. G-d bless you greatly.
Killed my first deer this year last weekend and will by using this recipe to make a nice deer stew

I have used avocado oil before, but never grapeseed oil. I shall have to try it.
Great America
I'm viewer 9,500! I'm a new viewer and enjoy your style cooking.
I love your channel! Your tips and menus are so much like what the older women in my family did, so many years ago!! I am having a good time reliving some old memories. I have made some stew like this, with adding some green beans and corn. Such a good looking dish. Again, I love all that you put into your shows and recipes! <3
I always buy London broils when they are on sale to make stew with because buying stew beef is from all over the animal and all uneven cuts. using a London broil I can use more beef and know exactly what kind it is and cut it up in the sizes I want it to be. they are also much cheaper than stew beef when they are on sale. this stew looks so yummy! we're due for some cooler weather the end of the week and I have some London broil. 😋
Where can you find the entire beef stew recipe written out?
Thanks so much, I'm having to cook in smaller amounts now being that my daughter is away at college, and it's so good 😊😊😊
Your recipe was fairly mundane, I would think if you are speaking for God it would be a little more interesting….
