Does your cooker constantly release steam while under pressure? The water cooks off quickly when I have used mine ( yes, I am locking the valve; I’ve been using pressure cookers for 40+ years).
Is the timer supposed to start after pressure is reached; or from the time you turn it on? I’ve tried using the timer function to cook eggs but it never goes off. I gave up and started using my kitchen timer instead or I end up with way over cooked eggs. I really want to make cheesecake but I’m afraid that all my work and ingredients will be wasted cooking it in my CP Express. I have seen other automatic pressure cookers used and they seem much more simple and reliable than the Crockpot Express. I’ve often wished I had bought another brand…..
