Such great advice!! A billion dollar company and the raise the prices 25%! I bet it's not to pay the employees more than necessary or to keep the stores cleaner. I refuse to keep buying unless it's something I know is a really good deal and I sure won't go near as much as I used to. I feel bad for the people who really needed to be able able to buy their necessities for a dollar and now have to deal with such a steep price increase.

Hi I enjoyed this video especially since now with the extra quarter it does add up and we want to spend smart. I ask myself if I need it or if it is really a deal too. The candies used to be a deal but I have found them cheaper at the Family Dollar or supermarket. I bought one of their media cases randomly to store my face mask after wearing it so its not out on the dash board or floating around in my pocket. It was a cute idea at first for me but I keep forgetting to use it. Maybe someone else may want to use it in this way.

Hi Sarah:). I used to spend at least $40.00 per week at the DT but since 11/21 I have only been once and spent just over $10.00! They went up 25 percent and I think that’s just being greedy cuz there are hundreds of things there that aren’t even worth 25 cents! I watch the DT shoppers and haulers and honestly I haven’t seen anything I was chomping at the bit to buy like I used to. I have a stash of hand soaps and many other things that will keep me going for quite some time. I used to buy cards there but now I don’t buy any. Most all the makeup I bought was a color that didn’t look good on me or it was old and I threw it away. I used to love to go-was actually excited to go there but no more. They show a lot of things that have NEVER come to my store. Just wanted to say ur decorating of ur new home looks great and ur eyebrows are beautiful! You always have told it like it is👍😊🤗💕

Some thing I started doing was pulling out my Walmart app or Amazon app while I’m shopping at dollar tree and other places. The search bar will let you scan the barcode of the item and show you what their price would be.

I don’t think is a good idea for u to tell ppl to go and open the boxes like that… ppl need to be patient and respectful of the employees… and u keep talking about being smart when buying and is good but u should apply it as well..

Omg the dollar around house have a back room and you so right they will not pull it out or stick it on the shelf. For example I was looking for some honey and I know for sure they carry it and I ask the sale lady she went to the back room and yes they have but it still is in the box unopen. And I also not all dollar tree store. Have one carrying the same items. Also thinks for letting everyone know that dollartree have a website and buy things off of there. Wow I didn't know that thanks

Good advice. Reminds me of my brother saying years ago that if you buy something that you don’t normally buy just because it’s on sale, a good deal or you have a coupon, you’re wasting money.

Great tips! Thank you so much for the nice and thoughtful thoughts of the Dollar Tree employees. I work there and I try to do my best to keep our store clean and organized. It's frustrating when people junk the store thinking it's okay to just put something on a different shelf when they change their mind. I would rather if someone changes their mind on an item to just leave it at the register instead of just putting it wherever.
I appreciate you and your videos very much. Thank you so much 💓

This was a great video! I totally get what you mean in, "do I NEED that?" I have seen DT DIY's and thought, "oh, I HAVE to get those!" Ummm, no, Shawn ya don't 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so, I have learned to stop impulse buying.

First of all I’m not being rude but the 2 dollar tree’s in my town have nothing I was there in January and it looked like they were going out of business and one everyone working there are so rude the girl ringing me up I ask when did the price go up she’s like omg don’t you know everything well she said my bill was six something I give her a$20 bill she said nothing then she said don’t you have anything smaller I said no well I better hope I have money the time was 9:10 am the girl behind didn’t know about the price so I gave her three bucks. And they never know when the truck is coming. But I go to Walmart and dollar general. Sorry for being so long but I’m sure there are other people out there that deal with this. She been there for about one year. Again I’m sorry
