Thanks for the tips. I am hoping our local Dollar Tree has some things back in stock that were out for a while. Always a good tip to check expirations, I have also found some things there that were already past their expiration date. It's important to check country of origin just because some products like canned fish may come from regions with less than clean waters. For example little snacks that you showed that were the mini bars say product of PRC and this means People's Republic of China and the food came from that country even though they show a California on the back which is the US distribution area which can be confusing. Sometimes there are abbreviated origin names but if you can access the internet from your cell phone, it's easy to check right in the store using your cell phone what the countries might be.

Help!!! I first want to thank you for another great video. I will definitely be checking out my local Dollar Tree store. I am really excited to see they have the Saffron Road shelf stable meals. I purchase their frozen dinners. I wasn't aware they made shelf stable meals. I have been purchasing Tasty Bite brand instead. I thought I was diligent in rotating my stock as you often remind us – but I found a Tasty Bite Vegetable Korma packet showing a best by date of August 2020. Given it is sealed and you have often stated food is often fit for consumption past the Best Buy date, would you think it is still good to eat? Also, I have some Barilla angel hair pasta that will expire in November. Should I place the box into a gallon Zip-Lock bag to see if it will extend the shelf life. Apologies for so many questions. Please stay safe with your travels.

Have you ever thought about asking your daughter to mail you stuff from the Dollar Tree? Or, when you visit her, purchase stuff and then mail it to your address. We used to do this when my husband was stationed overseas.

You always find the good stuff at the $ store, AG! I picked up that granola and really enjoyed it. Those egg noodles are good; I used to live a few blocks from the manufacturer (Zerega's) in another lifetime! πŸ˜„) The visual of imagining πŸ’•TeddyπŸ’• all softly cuddled in that baby blanket made my heart warm and happy!

I love going to the Dollar Tree. I buy all my snacks there. I can't stomach going to the other stores and buying snacks for $3. or $4. when I can buy it at Dollar Tree for $1. Thanks for your tips and encouragement.

You got yourself a great haul there, & lots of storage tips too. πŸ‘
You can revive Spices, (Ground or Whole,) in a dry skillet on a very low heat for a few minutes, you basically toast them, it wakes them up.
TFS, & take care everybody. β€πŸ™‚πŸΆ

I live by the $1 extra rule….even if that's all I can afford when I'm in a store I get something extra….every little bit helps!! Dollar tree dollar general and family dollar stores all have some great deals for $1…food, meds, hygiene, pet supplies etc.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but apparently Dollar Tree is going up in price $1.25 to $1.50 now and they're going to change names to Dollar Tree Plus in some areas and charge $3-$5-$7 for items.

Ok now I have to go to DT tomorrow!!! I wondered if they had baby blankets. We have pitsky dogs and now 3 new puppies. My Holly loves blankets! I'd love to get her one and some new toys. When we come home from the grocery store they sit and wait for their treats. Well, I did the Walmart update for the grocery online app. It deleted my entire order. When I redid it I forgot to put their bones and treats on my list. They were pitiful when there wasn't anything for them. So I'll grab some treats for them tomorrow.
You had a great haul! I never find the pink salt when I go. It probably goes fast. Thanks for sharing ☺️

I love the Dollar Tree! Its a 70 mile drive from me, but its always included on supply runs. If you need something from the Dollar Tree, and mine has it, Id gladly ship it to you. USPS Flat Rate Boxes are great! 😁

The Hungry Jack hash browns were .88Β’ at Wal-Mart BUT they are so hard to find so I buy both from DT and WM. However Walmart has gone up to $1.30
That's a big jump. Prices keep rising. Unbelievable!! I.love the Campbell's soups with the 30% more I think it is. I love the shorter can and bigger around. They seem to stack better.

I have a toaster oven/air fryer with the big square wire rack. I fold parchment paper, punch some holes in it & lay it on the air fryer rack. Food comes out crispy & clean up is so much easier.

Well, I watched this video way earlier. I had to run out to DT to get a gift card for my mother-in-law so I grabbed a bag and headed out. I decided, what's stopping me from picking up a few things to add to my emergency storage. Uh nothing. So I got several things, both things that need to be cooked and things that can be eaten straight out of the can. I probably got 20 various things. I had some already but this helps. I have learned from you to make a list then decide how often you would want to eat that item. So much I've learned from you. I figured I better s%&*$ or get off the pot. So I've got a good start. My freezer is full and I have 2 daughters that grow much of the fresh produce we use. And one raises chicken and lamb. I have seeds and will be starting our own winter greens to supplement our veggies from my daughters. We could do more but we at least have a start.
