I took a 8×8 pan used a large can of peaches one can of ginger ale & 2 cups complete pancake mix. It turned out good but would add brown sugar A suggestion from My Daughter

Add a bit of large crystal sugar on top before you bake .. or make crumble with cake mix / brown sugar / butter !

Butter makes everything better.
I know this over 4 years old but I put crushed pineapples in the bottom including the juice. I have also used apple pie filling and added some cinnamon and maybe a little sugar, but I use a spice cake on top.
