Those bamboo skewers? OK, don't laugh, but with a wet wipe over the end or tip they are amazing at getting dust or dirt out of tiny little corners. Very good to have in the household items too.

If you haven't canned before, here's a tip. Don't store your jars with a ring around them. You won't need as many rings as lids unless you intend to give away the filled jars.Yesterday we had apples from Aldi that needed to be used before they went soft or spotty, so I canned five pints and 4 three quarter pints of applesauce. I love to use it in baking along with eating, and love to be able to can the food.
