Ok so I also was like WTF when I first heard about adding cheese on top of noodles or anything Korean, the huge appeal for me personally of most Asian food is its lack of cheese lol but I must say I tried making my own cheese stuffed tteokbokki and it was amazing šŸ˜» Ilove making banchan more than anything! Itā€™s made my husband and kids way more adventurous eaters, and in general my favorite variety of ways to make veggies taste good. Itā€™s easier to get them to eat vegetarian here and there too when I cook Korean ā¤ I donā€™t like any of the frozen stuff, and I do a wide variety of home cooking so it was so worth it to just learn. Most of the techniques arenā€™t that hard, I really recommend learning some of the basic building blocks of Korean cooking!

I really appreciate this podcast especially as a Korean person! Pleasantly surprised to learn that Josh (and Nicole) had quite a good understanding of Korean food!
There are so much more to Korean food than just BBQ and fried chicken, and I am glad you brought in Deuki and Matt to talk about it in depth. It was refreshing!
    Thanks guys ā¤

Wichita, KS actually has a lot of ethnic food from what you'd expect. We have a decent population of Vietnamese, Korean, and Indian folks, and we're lucky they brought their food with them. Some of my favorites.

Yes. Korean food is the best. Lived there for a year. Nothing can top it. Mexican is close. Mediterranean/Middle Eastern is closer. But Korean is the absolute best. Maybe only Sashimi (as a single Japanese dish) is better. As a whole culture, Korean is phenomenal. Love it. Absolute best. Kimchi, bibimbap, bulgogi, chopchae, all of the different jigaesā€¦so so so good.

For me Mediterranean food is the best in the world and it's not even close. But that's the cool thing about food. It's all personal and subjective. Enjoy what you like.
