2020 weight loss so far, I compare results January, February and March. Plus a weight loss Q & A session: Fruit vs potatoes? How to stay on track? Does fat …
I agree. I hate weighing and measuring my food. I would rather not include overt fats or severely limit them…
I can't believe you didn't lose inches off your middle. You definitely look smaller to me!
Maybe fruits N roots for April?
You're looking great–I can really see so much loss in your face too. With regard to your weight loss slowing, I'd argue the weight we gain most quickly (usually over the holidays) comes off the most quickly, because it's often a lot of water weight as we reduce sodium and inflammatory foods from our diets. As a 55 yo post-menopausal woman, 2.5-4.0 pounds/month weight loss on WFPB is definitely my norm, and I don't have Hashimotos. Keep up the focus on improving your health (which is a lot harder to measure than pounds or inches lost), and let us know what you decide to do for April.
Your arms definitely look slimmer 💪
So great that you are able to be so transparent. It helps me to be more honest with myself.
Great job on your results. I can hardly wait to follow along on what you do this month.
You are doing sooo great!!!!
What about a whole grain and bean reset? Do you think you would feel good eating only oats, rice, quinoa, buckwheat, millet, beans, and lentils for a month?
Yes, the fat you eat is the fat you wear.
You look great!
PLEASE READ THIS!!! I've been vegan for 8 years, HCLF for the last 3-4, and then I went to intermittant fasting for the last two years. I haven't lost weight on IF because I was restricting calories and shortening my window too much to eat more food. IF doesn't work for vegans if you do that. I'm apart of some FB IF groups and see people on SAD diets losing weight left and right without restricting, well they also have to eat less to get the calories they need versus our food quantity = calories intake. IF or not do not decrease your calorie intake, calories don't matter (that much) in comparison to why your body won't let go of the fat. Calorie deficit = body thinks it's starving and will not release extra fat. Makes sense!
Look up calorie restriction and refeeding. I recommend Alice Olivia and LilyKoi Hawaii… Both HCLF vegans and talk about how we mess our bodies up by restricting calories and how especially on a vegan diet we should not be restricting any calories, but eating till we are satisfied and listened to our bodies. I've done a lot of research on this (I don't have anything else to do lol). I am currently starting to do the re-feeding to get my calories/food up and doing weight/resistance training (that kind of exercise builds muscle while losing fat = win win). I've tried so much stuff to lose weight as a vegan (minus the initial weight lose) and nothing has worked. When I wasn't caring 3-4 years ago about how much I ate, I was actually losing weight. I hope this helps you and anyone else who is curious. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or just want a new friend. I'm so bored! lol
You look great. I can tell you have lost weight.
🙌🏻😄💜
I can really see how you have lost inches for sure. Well done. The greens will play a role for sure. Have you tried some veggies as your first meal ie 2lbs a day as per Chef AJ. Realllllllly works 😉
