Ah, LuLu! I had the same experience this summer with bum air machines – TWICE my tires were FLATTENED (2 diff times and gas stations)!!! Had to call AAA for help both times. Glad you were able to solve the problem with your own air compressor.

Lulu you are a goodness magnet. I loved your stories. Enjoy the canyon. There use to be ranger walks. I highly recommend them. Also stop in El Tovar. It's a beautiful historic hotel. Mary Colter is famous for building projects such as Hopi House, Hermit's Rest, Lookout Studio and Desert View Watchtower (DVW is about an hour drive along the rim with lots of lookout viewpoints along the way). From DVW you get a view of the painted desert. Enjoy the high desert!
