How do I cook chicken cassarole on slow cook? As the idea of slow cook is to cook for more than a few hours. I cannot find my instuction book and no one on youtube is showing how you can actually slow cook on the instant pot they only show how to cook fast. I am going out now and would like to put everything in my 8 quart instant pot and would like it to cook at least 4-5 hours. How do I do this, what setting and cooking function does it have to be on.

Thank you for ZERO helpful information. I'm so happy you love your IP and crockpot. But I was after some helpful AND useful info. As stated, you provided positively none of either. Go make some more chili for the office.

Why I would cook 8 hours in a slow cooker then take the pot with the food and go outside?? Am I missing something? I want to know a difference between both pots ? Cooking quality – taste – cleaning – …etc

I just read an article about a young girl who suffered third degree burns when the Instant Pot she and her mother were using to make soup exploded. They had followed the instructions to the letter and vented it before trying to open it and it still retained enough pressure to explode. Nope. I'll stick with my slow cooker thank you. These things are new tech. New tech often needs to be run around the block a few times before it is actually safe to use. I'm not willing to be a Guinea pig . . .
