Oh man I can't wait to try this recipe! Never had succotash like this before, but I'm sure going to try it now! I'm even going to try adding a bit of sugar. It goes against what I'm used to, but it sounds darn good especially with the other seasonings! And if you don't try new things life can get pretty boring.

I use sugar in cabbage, greens tomatoes sauce,blackened peas. Sugar takes bitterness out food and Taste good with the salt.
