I make birria the way my grandmother's, great aunts, aunts, and my mom made it. Passed down from generation to generation from my long dead family members from Mexico. It tastes so much better that way. I don't do very many shortcuts when I make old recipes like this because it's part of my family history. I'd feel like I was dishonoring my ancestors. So I cook their recipes the way they did to honor them. I absolutely LOVE your cooking show btw! It's one of my favorites! You have some of the best recipes ever! Thank you!
