Thanks for the recipe DebraJoy I just bought myself an InstaPot.
Going to try this recipe. Sounds good. I always smile or have a chuckle watching your videos. You can be so funny πŸ˜€ a good funny !! Love your little
Blue Cottage and all your furniture and decorations. A lot of the stuff you have I love and some of the ways you have done your own special touch to them I love too and I think you think alot like me and we like the same things. Like your purple sofa I love. The colors and the covers on your glass windows too is such a great idea. Also like the white and pink shelf paper you put inside your cabinet shelves and inside the two doors where you hang your dish rag and dish towel on your pink hooks I just love. You have so many wonderful ideas of how to decorate.
Also love to watch you in your kitchen putting a recipe together.
Just like this lemon cake you made. I like quick and easy recipes
too. Well young lady sending you love and hugs and wish you didn't live so far away.
You would be so much fun to visit and grab lunch or dinner with now and then. But I live way over here out east in Jax. Florida.
Right now all us Floridians are Praying for that hurricane Dorian to stay east of us and hurry on out into the ocean. Suppose to be near our coastline Wed. But Praise the Lord not close to our coastline. But our beaches will be getting stronger winds and a high water surge from the Atlantic Ocean. .Praying it stays away from the rest of the east coast and doesn't hit land.
Still need a way to send you a card or a little trinket or whatever but have no way because I don't know where to send it.
I think I have already commented on another post my age. I was saying I was older than you and you answered back your age.
So yes I am 76 yrs old as of Sept 11th (9-11) and I am definitely several years older than you DebraJoy.
Seems like only yesterday I was in my 60s !! Time flies by so fast as we get olderπŸ€ͺ
    Have a Blessed Day.❀

Sure happy you are using it. I’m loving mine. Making a roast tonight in mine. Was going to do pinto beans, but want to go to church tomorrow, so decided a roast would be better on Saturday night!

Oh I got one of these 3 quart instant pots last year! I love that in addition to being a pressure cooker, it's a slow cooker, yogurt maker etc.. Perfect size for a small household. Debrajoy's Instant Pot Cooking Show. Yes!

I was hoping for you to show us you taking them out of the pot and take a piece and break apart with a fork to show us live how the meat turned out live not still shot. Oh well. The picture is hard to tell if dry or not. The sauce looks and sounds yummy with my favorite being hickory.

I have had 2 little dogs and they both followed me step for step, including sitting on my feet when I was in the bathroom. I think she loves you so much, that she just wants to be with you all of the time. At 11 years old she may find it stressful to have to share you and her home. My yorkie wouldn't have been happy with another dog in the house,as she was the queen. However she did bond with a 6 week old stray kitten which I rescued from freezing cold weather when someone moved and left it behind outside. She was 6 yrs old at the time and became the kittens mom. I don't think she would have adapted as well at 11. A second pet also doubles the expense of food and vet bills. Pray about it, and I'm sure you will make the right decision, whatever that may be. Hugs to you and Miss Hazel.

Funny, I just ordered a package of 500 food grade plastic gloves (I think about $6) from Amazon bc I can't stand touching raw meat. Betsy sticks me like glue, too…. I think it's a little dog/single mom thing. πŸ˜ƒ

If you just salt the water heavily it keeps potatoes from turning brown also. Even overnight. I do potatoes in advance all the time too. We're the ribs good and tender? They looked great! I do ribs all the time also. But I boil them 2 hrs and then bake them for 45 mins. Very time consuming but goood! Maybe I need an instant pot!? Love you and Hazel so much!

Ribs look so good! Would be nice for Hazel to have a little friend. I have 2 dogs and my daughter in law has one. These 3 dogs are best buddies. I really enjoy watching them play. Hope you and Terry enjoy your dinner!

The ribs look great and glad they were delicious for you and Terry. Hazel gets play time with Mariah, so that's great. I must get an Instant Pot; my brother has one and loves it. Glad your back is holding up for you as you do so much in your pretty yard.

Some dogs don’t care about playing. My Bella will only play for a few moments and then back on the couch she goes. Bella came from a place that bred Pomeranians so she was raised with lots of dogs, but she prefers being an only dog.

Hi Debra! I cooked ribs here in Japan today but in the oven and they turned out fantastic! I’m looking to buy an instapot when we go back to the states. Wattage here is different and it definitely shows on crockpots and such gadgets 😞. My crockpot here has a high, high and high button🀣. Cooks only in one temperature πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. Thank you for your videos!

So fun using your beautiful bowls and showing the steps…..patting dry works for putting on the seasoning…my sister scores with hers,,,I wonder if hers is small one because does not seem bigger..just watching someone else teaches you you can simplify, change to your taste and not that hard…..sort with whatever you have etc. My sweet cooking sister gave our nephew one and a recipe book she made on his first working year out of college..so many easier steps…thank you.
