I recommend getting some surgical brushes on Amazon. OT recommended them to me years ago and I ended up finding out school was using them too. When she gets very overwhelmed brushing her arms, and head can help alleviate it and calm her down some. I hope that makes sense?
It sends like a sensation elsewhere to create calmness.
    I feel you 💯 my dear. 💜💜

Honestly if my child would grab the spoon out of my hand after i’ve told her to not do that, and after i’ve explained why she can’t stir right now i would tell her she can’t help anymore even though she would scream.

Well, I've been watching your video for 20 plus minutes and I do like the long videos. I feel like we spend quality time with you when the video is long instead of short.

My son is a lot like snow with the tantrums. It’s hard but you’re a great mom and I appreciate you showing the real moments in your family. Makes me feel less alone ❤

Why are you letting your child run your household? You need to stand up for yourself and not let a 4 year boss you around. You may think you being nice is the solution but you are only doing her a disservice by not reprimanding her.

You seem afraid of Snow. Whether I afraid of her throwing a tantrum, afraid of her physically, I'm not sure. But you're the parent. Shes only going to get bigger, and stronger and more defiant. Standing up to her now and holding your ground with discipline is what she needs. Your mom seems to have a handle on her behavior. Maybe follow her lead. You're too soft and that will come to bite you in the end.

when she does that, correct the behavior and redirect!! the more u enable it the more she’ll react and thinks it’s appropriate. Take more control of the situation, don’t be scared mama ur doing great! If she doesn’t wanna listen, no more helping or let her regain the privilege 🙂

Thank you for sharing the moment with snow!!!! I'm dealing with similar behavior issues with my oldest son (4). It's hard but I like seeing other ways to deal with it…. Other then yelling .

Snow is so smart & she knows what she wants. My boys were like that & they struggled with a little bit of a temper bc they thought they were older to do things they physically couldn't yet without help. I just let them know they have to behave or they will go in time out or something they really like will be taken away if they don't behave. You guys are doing great with snow she is testing you but you do keep up on her she's learning to behave more. & she's thriving. I'm so proud of you & Snow.
