Yeah, whomever edits these needs to stop. It’s choppy as hell, which ultimately distracts.
I'm convinced David has no clue how to cook. Worst fried rice. This whole recipe is ass backwards. Agave? Eggs last? Fried, not scrambled? I can't, but I must watch, like the Asian Rachael Ray cooking.
Dam he didnt even bother changing shirts
plz no more elevator music
I love Dave but jesus that camera work is making me dizzy
Q: How overcooked are the shrimp?
A: Very.
it feels forceful and fake. your plates are not the same.
Awesome recipe and fixed camera view. But the handy cam shots were straight hectic. Like a Blair Witch cooking show.
This is all the rage now? I’ve been having sunny side/over easy eggs w/ fried rice since I was in kindergarten in the mid-80s. Glad the rest of the world on social media has caught up
😂 egg-actly… welcome to the recently discovered “rage” or eating a runny yolk on fried rice. 🙄 🇰🇷
The hand motions significantly take away from viewing experience
I really do like David, but this channel is just basically Infomercial ads. I'm disappointed.
Well, sadly back to Kenji's, a place with no ads.
I love everything you stand for as a chef Dave but these videos are so awkward and clunky. I recommend hiring a different production team.
I'm waiting for Uncle Roger's review…
Can't wait for Uncle Roger's review
why do you use olive oil for the wok?
🔥
Music and camerawork is awful
i recommend you use a silicone spatula for home cooking on the wok. takes a while to get used to it because you dont see it that often, but once you get used to it, you will get the benefit of cleaning the sides with the silicone spatula. instead of tossing, shake the pan back and forth and push food away from you with the spatula. because it's a wok, the food will slide back down.
i find it's a lot easier to stir food this way compared to shaking food all over the place like david is doing. and it doesn't appear uniform and even either. this also keeps the pan close to the fire. tossing the food with barely the help of the wooden spoon forces him to lift the wok, wasting heat.
@mrnigelng does uncle roger approve?
