    Gosh I love curry potatoes n eggs as well, n it’s a weekly dish in my home nearly each week lol, de only difference is dat I don’t fry my eggs, I put dem in just boiled n whole, n it’s yummy also.

    Sometimes we will add some can channa or shrimp as well. My dad told me recently when he was young, his mom would a fry scramble egg, slice in pieces and slip into the curry near the end 😆 I'll stick to boil and blistered egg!

    Looks so good! This is pretty much how we make it in Fiji except I like to keep the eggs whole and I prick it with a fork or knife to get the gravy (surwa) in it. I like to mash the yolks with the potatoes while eating it! So good with a side of achar! 😋

    hi nice cooking with yester years recipes when i run of of dishes(recipes) and have to feed the family with nothing in the house egg and potatoes hit me first you can have it with bread/roti/rice have u tried curry pasta and every one is happy and tummy full yes u r right to feed a big family in those days and even till this day potatoes/veggies/lintels are added to the main ingredient to meat/fish/eggs/sea food happy cooking i am a baker and a professional home cook of ur type of recipes down the ages happy cooking
