Yummmmyyy!!! Love this meal. My Boiled cabbage has fatback and fatback drippings and of course s/p, water and cabbage. But with our cubed steak and gravy, we always have mashed potatoes, canned sweet peas, creamed corn and biscuits. Delicious!!!

Everything looks yummy. I had the cube steaks like that a lot when I was younger. Every time I see you making the biscuits. I tell myself I’m going to give them a try. 😋

I love some boiled cabbage!!! I like mine in strips as well. I don't fill the pot up completely with water, less than half way full, four strips of bacon or hog jowl, butter, seasoned salt, and red pepper flakes! Comes out perfect every time!

Every Sunday we ate lunch with Grandma after church . She made the best boiled cabbage! It was cooked just right and had the best flavor! I wish I had asked her how she made it! Love your pioneer woman cookie jar! Is that new? I need one !❤️🥰

Falon, I did that last week making my breakfast, the egg just slipped out of my hand, landed on my foot and splattered all over the rug and my cabinets, It's such a mess to clean from 1 egg, lol. Dinner looked great. You just reminded me I have half a cabbage in my fridge, I guess I better make it. Stay well and safe.
