The best thing I ever did was to start my kids working with me in the kitchen. I have two great cooks now that they are all grown up. (I get the best dinners for my birthday and mother’s day!🥰).
I love to keep frozen chopped onions & chopped bell peppers in my freezer for all my recipes! No crying! & time saver! Only $1 per bag.
Have u ever thought about visiting Ga I would love for u to come cook for me and bring your family in the stone mountains look over Atlanta Ga
He can sing cook clean build things sing share im so impressed
I LOVE your parenting and the kids involvement in things you do!!
I see people are upset about the whole knife situation you guys I’m sure Jesse has had many times where she has properly showed the kids how to use the knives trust me in Latino homes we learn from about 5 years old how to cut up veggies and even cook in the stove top Jess isn’t doing nothing wrong with having the boys help her as long as she’s there to supervise
I don't buy dark meat
I'm so picky. Your kids do better than I do with their eating. I don't like chicken soup. I'm so happy your family loves it.
This recipe is very delicious.
I'm all for letting children be in the kitchen but the knife was stressing me out. I get stressed when I chop stuff up, God forbid letting children so young do it. But they have to start somewhere.
aaa thank you for teaching your boys how to cook! so many people don't, it feels like all the boys my age are useless in the kitchen lol
Ivy is so adorable oh ya and the recipe looks so yummy!!
Yes yes yes & yes!!!!!!! I’ve been craving homemade noodle soup (with homemade noodles) but I hate how long it takes to make homemade noodles, so glad I watched this video I’m going to Walmart tomorrow and buying bags of those! Also your video was so cute, you knows it’s a good recipe when other people crave it through a screen haha
Friggin nasty
Who the hell taught you how to make chicken noodle soup what are you nuts learn how to cook before you start in sending out videos my god girl what’s wrong with you
I love how in all the thumbnails I see IvyJanes beautiful eyes looking up at you, such a little angel she is!God Bless your family Jessa!
Wow, to see the boys using that big knife!!
I was scared. But they both did awesome. Good job boys and mama. Such good little kitchen helpers!!
I wanted to let you know Jessa that you can eat the tops of the celery. My Italian chef ,Lydia took the celery tops mozzarella balls or shredded mozzarella and walnuts with dressing and make a good salad. Justvyhe celery tops.
Looks delicious!!!!!
This soup looks so good!! Does anyone in your family have dairy or gluten sensitivities? Also the littles are so adorable….God Bless!
Jessa… I would love to try your recipe but I have acid reflux so I'm a little sensitive to garlic. Does the amount of garlic you used leave a very heavy garlic flavor? Could I cut back on that without sacrificing flavor?
Those kids have better life skills than I. And I'm 28!! Adopt me please Jessa !!!
I don’t let my 6 year old use non kid scissors let alone a knife, because I don’t trust his judgement. It gave me so much anxiety watching the kids do it but I feel your parenting is really great and it is giving them great confidence as well
Add a sprig of fresh rosemary! So good! 🙂
I tried your soup recipe and it came out delicious! Thank you and I look forward to other recipes. God bless.
He is better with a knife than most people.
I'm so proud of you. The last time I caught up with you, you were saying your sisters were the cooks and that you'd never gotten into it, so you didn't know how you were going to go. Just look at you go! My mum never let me help her in the kitchen, so I loved letting my little boy be my assistant. It's very special to be trusted like that as a child.
I appreciate the fact that your boys have learned proper knife skills!
Spurgeon is going to be a great chef someday. He is an amazing kitchen helper!!!
You are an amazing mom. The confidence and maturity that Spurgeon shows is incredible for his age and shows what children are capable of when they are taught properly.
Omg Spurgeon U r beautiful

I really like your kids they are well behaved.
Hello Jessa! I have enjoyed watching your sweet family. I made this recipe tonight and I made the fried rice last week. Both recipes were a HUGE hit. Thank you for sharing.
