So I have a basic cooking question I've been wondering about… Do you clean your beans for little stones and such? Years ago you absolutely had to, there was always some little rocks in there…now a days, it seems not so much at all! I would like to hear what you think and also what other's experiences has been! LOVE your channel!

Just made these. I ended up using the whole bunch of cilantro and a small container of cherry tomatoes. Instead of salt/pepper, I used 1 tsps of chicken bouillon while it cooked and added more for taste. Might have come out to 1.5 TBS of chicken bouillon. They taste amazing.

Thank you for explaining how to cook without rambling. You have very lovely speaking voice and it’s easy to watch your videos from beginning to end. I really wanted to learn how to make beans but went through 5 vids because either it was too complicated or they were awful. Thank you ma’am hope to learn from you in the future.

Okay, went to Menard's and got a 3 quart Hamilton Beach for 14.00 dollars. Went to Meijer and got everything you talked about. I have a countdown timer so it will go off in 8 hours on high. I sure hope this all works. After I saw this video and how easy this was, I had to do it!!!!!!!! 11/12: Came out great, omitted the meat, I don't trust meat in the slow cooker because most don't go above the 120 degree mark. Enjoyed this immensely. Mine were so thick, dumped it on rice. The beans were not overcooked at all, the skins stayed on, absolutely perfect. Like having mashed potatoes in the middle of the bean, which I understand is perfect. Gosh, this was so easy and great.

I used a pressure cooker once , no twice to cook my beans.
I was so pleased how fast they cooked & how well!
I stirred them smooth using a pair of chopsticks. Wow!
I learned why they get soaked, if not using crockpot method.
