Am a huge fan of dusting chunks of proteins of any kind in potato or corn flour for frying this way. The texture is perfect. I plan on making these for dinner tonight! Love your channel so much. It's quickly become my favorite cooking channel on YouTube. Reminds me so much of my favorite PBS cooking shows from my childhood.
I made it and sent it to three of my friends. Made extra sauce and served it over fried polenta.
thank you. it looks delicious and so easy
Howdy, Glen !! At first glance, I thought you were making Spicy CHOCOLATE Shrimp !!! @ .. @ So glad my annual eye dr. appt. is next month. LOL
This would work really well on a bed of rice! š„°ā¤ļøš„°ā¤ļø
Lol, how do I give 2 š??
Wonderful recipe. I will make it asap
That shrimp on a po boy <3
Very nice dish. One thing I didn't understand: why discard the oil and replace it with butter at the end? Seemed like a shame to discard the flavor extracted from the shrimp into that oil. Was it to add the flavor of butter to finish?
I'm in total agreement over the green beans. Broad/fava beans would work well, too.
Do you have a link or information on that saucier? I've been looking for a plan to finish pasta in and it looks perfect for that.
Do you use an air fryer? We were gifted one and have used it almost on a daily basis during the summer.
oops ….you said said cayenne at 30 second mark, but paprika at 4:06
Very nice in a salad
Alas chipotle is one spice that never agrees with me. I taste it for entirely too long, and it is the smokiness, not the heat that sticks in my craw.
Glen if you gently pinch the shell with your teeth the meat comes away from the tail.
I would think that Jules might have thought of scallops, or oysters, for some of the other options. I can usually tell what's on her mind. Not this time. I must be slipping. Lol
Appetizer? You mean dinner! Just give me a fork and get out of my way.
I love how your recipes are a technique and you can change up ingredients to suit your tastes or needs
Now that sounds yummy!
And yeah, unless you're eating it with your fingers?
The tails have got to go!

That looks great
š Danke fĆ¼rs Hochladen!
š Thanks for uploading!
š Very good and beautiful, thank you!
š Sehr gut und schƶn, danke!
This looks really like Ebi Karaage… Japanese style fried shrimp. Most people know chicken Karaage or squid Karaage.
Bonus points, it can be made gluten free for us celiacs. Will be trying this for sure!
Sound and looks amazing!!!! Thanks for sharing w us!!
I like the green bean idea
I wish Iād seen this before cooking some frozen shrimp sous vide earlierā¦
Looks great. There's not much that's more perfect than a bite of spicy shrimp.
"make it your own" merch coming soon? š I
Who made the saucier?
Interesting. Good idea for a twist on a shrimp poboy just came to mind. Will give it a whirl this afternoon…
That rice with sausages at the end looks amazing! when is that video coming out???
Can't wait to compare this with the flaming tequila shrimp. Thanks Glen!
Was that cayenne or paprika that went in first? I swear you said cayenne but then mentioned paprika later on.
This looks delicious. A must try for sure. Thanks for another great recipe video Glen. I've only managed to get one of my daughter's eating spicy food. My wife will eat hot peppers on a sub, but nothing else. When I make pickled Jalapeno's, I mix in quite a few Habanero's to bump up the heat to where I like it. I planted some Carolina Reapers and a Trinidad Scorpion, but I have chickened out and threw them all in the freezer.
Ok that is this weekends fried cauliflower sorted. Possibly roast the cauliflower first in some spices
Looks delicious!
Did this recipe take longer to cut or cook? š
YES. THANK YOU! Tails should be removed. Picking tail out of my teeth is the only downside to š¤
Your show always gives me PBS vibes especially when jewels comes out off set lol
This dish reminds me of Mrs doubtfire when Pierce brosnan eats the shrimp lol
I could swear I've had something similar to that but with loose bread crumbs added to it.
Glenn's sauce pan looks like a wok. I want!
Great recipe; will give that a try next week!
LOVE that Saucier pan – what brand is that one??
I'm wondering if coconut flour would also work here. The finely sliced jalapeno peppers are a nice touch.
Nice video & great to watch š
I don't even like shrimp and this looks good.
I would love to see more gluten free recipes! I'm celiac and I try to convert recipes but it's not always easy.
I love shrimp, but the mention of green beans made my tastebuds perk right up.
