    Oooooh my goodness, this looks amazing! I think I'm going to make that spice mix in bulk and keep it around to put in my tofu anytime I want 🙂 By the way, I love the placement and aesthetics of the final shot of tofu/rice with the anise in the background! Looks so pretty and professional!

    Looks yummy. I like to fry extra firm silken tofu similarly. Then pour over a light, strained “mapo tofu inspired” sauce on it. The crunch on the outside combined with the velvety inside is amazing with the fermented and spicy mapo flavors.

    Looks so yummy I’m going to try this recipe first time around in a high oven, once I spray the tofu with a light coat of vegetable oil after the corn starch . The rub sounds sooooo crazy amazing I know I’ll love it! Thank you for sharing! I can’t wait to try this out tomorrow.
