I am absolutely loving the instapot recipes as I don’t want to spend the day in the kitchen in the summer. Can you do an instapot recipe from frozen for those days I forget to pull something out while gardening 😊
Will definitely give this a go Rik. It’s bloody freezing in 🇦🇺 At the mo. Could make it today but I’ve already got food ready to cook. Thanks as always Rik that looks a real winter warmer
My method -in your biggest soup pot, fry chopped (streaky) bacon until almost crispy, remove from pot, add chopped onion, soften, add rest of veg, bit of flour, water and stock, boil, then simmer for at least 15 minutes, add cream, return the bacon, give it a few to heat the cream and serve. I also add a lot more frozen corn and omit chicken. I am very impressed with the US recipes this week. Usually, vids in other countries make them look super complicated or just gross. This looks fantastic. I hope if you do biscuits and gravy, remember that it's supposed to be a fast breakfast. Biscuits go in, start the gravy. The gravy should be done at the same time as the biscuits. And sage forward sausage, please! Very impressed, as always!
Great recipe – BUT, there are a whole lot of us who use a regular pressure cooker (yes, they ARE still a thing!) so please, Rik, include us poor folks in the conversation. A couple of sentences starting "but if you have a regular pressure cooker……" would not go amiss. Keep up the great output XD
This looks delicious. If you would have cooked that roux until it was brown, and added some peppers, you would have had gumbo ") This is so easy…good one Rik.
Bloody Nora this looks 👍
It looks absolutely lovely .I would love a bowl of it .looking at you eating it .yummmmmy ❤💕🙂👍🇨🇮

Another great video as usual.
My other half can't eat sweetcorn so I may make this without, then cook some sweetcorn separately to add to mine.

: Gorgeous eats, sir.
Can I add barley to this? I like it as is, but I must travel 30 miles to find celery.
I have never had chowder or even the desire to try it! This might change my mind. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks Rik for ANOTHER yummy dish. G'day from down under mate.
You make me want to buy an Instapot! The meal cooks so fast and looks delicious.
Looks great
Yes! I'm going to make this! I'll cut the chicken in smaller pieces. The bacon will put this over the top!! (No Instant Pot though)
"Now that's a chicken chowder " ❤
Thank you for another Instant Pot recipe … looking forward to a cool fall season day to make this meal.
Another winner, i must get one of those pots! 😊 Thanks
Looks great Rik, can’t wait until we have sweet corn in our garden here I’ll definitely be making some “corn chowder”
Could you put mushrooms in there? If so how would you add them? Via the frying pan?

Only had this from the can before, I've never had it fresh cooked, but I will now! Thanks for sharing!!
My Instantpot runs just about everyday…greatest invention ever .

You never disappoint 🎉🎉
That looks delicious. I've never had chicken chowder. But I'm going to try this soon. Thanks for sharing, Rik.
this is one for the menu this coming week, tho it will be in an ordinary pan on the hob. Looks delicious. 😃
❤❤❤❤😊
You have no idea what you’re doing to me! That looks “stupendous”. However, I’m now on a keto diet and I’m not supposed to have that 😭😭😭😭😭 Gutted! lol
Would the instapot cook dumplings in ten minutes, too? (:
