I’ve had Banza pasta but it’s a hit and miss. Red sauce is better at masking the flavor of the pasta. I really like their boxed Mac n cheese. So I would assume this recipe would be great with it!

This was so good!!! My husband and I both agree that it was even better than the Mac and cheese we got when eating out. So easy too. Thanks so much for this; it's definitely made it into the lunch rotation! I used red lentil pasta instead of chickpea pasta and it worked very well

Banza’s chickpea mac n cheese bowls are pretty legit. Unfortunately not all protein is equally bioavailable, and chickpea protein is pretty garbage compared to a lot of alternatives. 18g chickpea protein may as well be 9-10g of protein from a better source.

Chickpea pasta tastes and feels decently close to the regular stuff and the fact that it has a lot more protein AND fiber is a big plus. I do find that it has a weaker structural integrity than the regular stuff though. It doesn't feel like the individual pasta pieces stay together as easily. Still, it's a legitimate option if people want their meal to have more protein and fiber to it. Getting enough fiber in a mac-n-cheese pasta dish is probably difficult.

I prefer protein bars simply for the convenience AND I can easily try a single protein bar and be down a few bucks to see if I like it. Protein power, however, often costs a lot of money per bag or container and I don't want to have to spend that money unless I know I like the protein powder, but I can't know if I like it unless I buy it. . . So, you see my dilemma here. That's what's tough about a lot of high protein recipes, especially high protein dessert recipes, that rely on protein powder. I don't want to buy protein powder. I appreciate the rare times that someone does a high protein dessert recipe that does not rely on protein powder.

I've had that banza pasta before and I prefer it over regular pasta as it's so high in protein! It tastes great and unless you're super picky it won't taste any different than regular pasta. I have problems with my gut being sensitive to certain things but that Banza pasta makes me feel awesome and leaves me with more energy over a longer sustained period of time than regular pasta honestly. My personal experience obviously, but would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Interesting channel. I prefer protein shakes to protein bars as protein bars are often about 1/3rd protein by calorie percentage. Protein shakes are usually 70% – 80% protein by calories. Protein bars usually cost more due to the convenience factor. BTW, it would be nice to see the macros in these dishes.

As long as I still have teeth, I’m going to prefer the protein bar over a shake, also because there’s more satiety to me in bars than shakes. Shakes just want to make me turn them into smoothies. That can go runaway real fast 😓. Thank you for the recipe.

I don't see what is the serving size in ounces or grams to achieve those macros (370 calories, 34g protein, etc. …). Because I plan to cook up the whole box of Protein+ pasta

I hate cottage cheese but used to use it as a base to make protein pudding (mixed in a food processor with whatever flavored whey protein) and that was actually pretty good. So I'll give this a try.

I’ll be trying this for sure!!

The Mic actually sounded best when you pulled it off and held it in front of you at chest level. Sounded slightly muffled where it was for the video.

looks ok but instead of pasta i'll make it with potato. and i prefer protein powder cuz the bars always have palm oil or extra sugar and they make me really thirsty anyways

Shakes are the better supplement, since you can prep so that your meals have high fiber. When I travel, I add bars, because I won't be meal prepping, and I need the fiber in the bars.
