Edit: we make something similar, it's called rice bubble cake as rice bubbles are the same as your rice krispe cereal, to rice Krispe treats that doesn't use marshmallows as the binder and I've not made it in years but watching you has inspired me to make it this week.

I really wish that we had the canned tube of dough/pastry in my country. It looks like it could be versatile. X

Great that you're teaching and sharing tips. I'd like to hear you teach to wear houseshoes to protect feet, especially today when draining that hot water. Also pasta being chewy is known as Al dente.-why not teach the correct words, children are so capable of taking it in.

It great that your teaching Maddy how to cook. What about your boys? My son is almost 16 and he has been helping make meals for a few years now. He actually asked for me to teach him. I think it's great for them to know how to cook because they will be out on their own before you know it.

I don't know about the hot water trick. Everyone in my family always uses cold for cooking, because hot water heaters are not meant for cooking. I looked it up and it says, "Hot water systems like tanks and boilers contain metallic parts that corrode as time goes by, contaminating the water. Hot water also dissolves contaminants in pipes faster than cold water. And no, boiling the water does not make those contaminants (like lead) go away."

My daughter is taking cooking in school this year and is really excited. She cooks for her and her sister sometimes – she likes to make waffles and baked goods, mainly.

Great job Madelyn 🎀 I wished my mother had taught me how to cook … I had to learn once I left home. There were many times when i could see my husband struggling to eat my meals 🥴😂 but bless him he was always grateful 🙏 have a blessed evening xx
