O M GOSH!!!! That looks AMAZING! I’ve not cooked cube steak in several years, but it sure looks like i’ll be cooking it this week! Way to go Jess, seasoning your country fried steaks because that’s the key to making them taste grrrrreaaaaate!!!!! Now I just wish you could come to my house to do mine so they’ll taste good here too!! Oh, BTW, Hannah does exactly what I do when I have mashed potatoes! I get a little mashed potatoes & a bite of steak together & that first bite together gets the eating party started!!! Lol
Thanks again Val for sharing, we sure enjoyed it & y’all have an amazing night!
    MUCH LOVE & SWEET HUGS!!!

Once upon a time, they used to sell potato peeling rubber gloves with knobbley bits all over the palm part of the glove.. you just rub the potato while wearing them under the faucet! I bet those would be doubly good as Jess wouldn't feel the slippery potato and doesn't have to fear the peeler! ! I have some tactile defensiveness as well, so I feel her pain! Loooove you guys!

Sorry if you have already addressed this Val, but I am curious about Jess often commenting “when we move to the new house” . I started hearing it from some of the first videos since watching over a year now. Are y’all planning a move, or is this a hypothetical statement?
    Please remind me how to
become a Crispy. Love and serious respect to you and Hanna! Do y’all just ever go outside and SCREAM out of frustration?? 😂🤣
But For REAL ….. y’all AMAZE me with your control.❤️

I love you Val, this was a great vid. Jess did a good job helping, she’s determined to move out into a new home of her own and prepare her own meals, god love her. I want whatever Hannah was on, in the beginning of the vid😂😂😂 y’all are hilarious, Jess had me laughing so hard in the opening Val, when you were talking about how this entre is prepared and that you don’t order it yourself out in restaurants bc you like how your momma makes it and there’s Jess, chef hat falling past her ears onto her face talking right along with ya, omg then here comes Hannah singing into the camera, I’m dead 😂😂😂 this totally made my day, thanks so much. This meal looked so yummy, it’s 12:35am and you’ve got me craving a plate of that goodness. Love you all so much, stay safe and blessed. Have an amazing week♥️💫✨👼🏻✨💫♥️🐾🐾

I’m my family we grew up calling the soft meat cube steak and gravy, and the crispy one chicken fried steak and gravy. My mom taught me how to make it when I was a teen, and I thought it was magical that after flouring and browning your steak that you could boil it and it would automatically make the gravy! In addition to salt and pepper, I usually add onion power and just a little garlic powder to the flour. Sometimes if I need to I’ll add some bullion powder to the gravy, but the best thing is to add just a tiny bit (like 1/2-1 tsp) browning sauce in with the water. Boosts the flavor and deepens the color.

Chef Jess, Val and Hannah. Those chef hats are adorable on you. I’m so glad you wore them. I’m going to try your country fried steak never had ever. Enjoy your evening. Deborah T.
