I cooked some rice with salsa. When it was almost done, I threw in a can of drained chick peas and more salsa. I wish I could’ve added spinach or something but I was social distancing at a clients house and didn’t have all my groceries with me.

I'm starting a project to use up the open things hiding in the pantry and all the weird stuff in the fridge. I found a shriveling fennel bulb way back in the corner, along with 3 partial packs of tortillas. Maybe this forced staying at home will help me get my kitchen act together! 😂

Thank you! More pantry recipes, please! I have canned artichokes, hearts of palm, tomato sauce, taco shells, cornmeal, and coconut milk in my pantry.

I found a big, honkin' can of pumpkin in my pantry when I was "re-organizing" last week, and it's an "oldie" too. I'm thinking pumpkin chili with half of it, and some kind of curry for the other. Thanks for your "timely" video. Your curry looks delish!

Ahhh this looks SUH good! I have everything to make it except for the most important ingredient: yellow curry paste. 😭 I'm doing the same as you, using up everything in the house before I brave the outside world. 😬 Glad to see you guys are happy and healthy! P.S. You leaving your plastic spoon in the pot while everything cooks was making me so nervous. 😰 I was waiting for you to pull it out and the end to be all melted and bent. 😂💜

Love these pantry cooking vids! I am not going anywhere (only walking the dog at deserted places) so I can relate! I am so used to fresh veggies, I struggle with the frozen ones I have now. As far as pantry, I am well stocked (always, I haven't been panick shopping) I have bags of dry beans which I intended to use but never got around to trying it….I need a kick in the butt to get started on them I guess, so if you can make something with dried beans…it be much appreciated lol.
I have been in isolation for 14 days now (Netherlands) and bored out of my mind at this point 😉

    Keep safe, keep healthy!
