We cooked a 10lb Brisket in two 8qt Instant Pots (7-in-1, 8qt Duo) and our inside summer barbecue came out great! We love the Instant Pot. Song Credit: Today …
How do I add more time? Longer than the 60 min it shows for meat? I want to cook a brisket for longer than 60, so how do I add a total of maybe like 1.5hrs??
Normal people don't have two instant pots, but thanks anyway
Not gonna let the meat set? Let it cool a bit before cutting so some fat stays in the meat
Was 60 minutes enough? I see other recipes call for 90 and I'm curious which to use.
I love you HEB ❤
LOVE LOVE LOVE my instant pot!>>>ur2.pl/1046 It is definitely not a necessity for everyone, but it has certainly made my life easier. I think the 8 quart version we got is maybe a little large for most people's needs, but I really appreciate the versatility of being able to put a larger quantity into the pot – it's made dishes like stir-fry and rice possible to cook at the same time. If you're on the fence about what size to get, or if you should get one at all, I would say go for it!
I appreciate the upload since I just bought a brisket and wanted to know how long to cook it my Instant Pot. Actually they cook two pots of briskets, about 5 pounds of meat per pot. Timing-wise this is relevant. But anyway this is a good how-to video from my point of view. More, "show", less "tell". More visual demonstration than chatter.
Can bearly hear you.
Thanks for the video! I have one question: Is it necessary to clean the inner pot after the browning process?
What's the wattage on those things? You might be overloading that circuit.
damn you way over cooked that thing… should have manually released the pressure then pull meat out and let rest 15-20 min before slicing…..
How many quarts was your instant pot
Poor kid 🙁
ñice video thanks
Next time you do it add the Liquid Smoke to the Brisket then marinade it. Use at least 4 times as much as you did and rub it into the Brisket with your seasonings. Just as Brisket stands up well to the smoke on the Smoker it also stands up just as well to Liquid Smoke and you will see a big difference in the flavor adding alot of it. People are afraid to use alot of it because we have been told no no a little goes a long way! That is only true when you are making a smaller meat such as chicken breasts. I don't even measure, just give it a uniform coating of the Liquid Smoke on all sides of it then add your seasonings and marinade it. You will be well pleased with the outcome.
