Asoki saving lives since 19gbirigidim 🀣. Ahh thank God my mum loves drinking garri especially ijebu garri, even when people say it's not good to drink in the evening/night, so far it's what she craves omo she go drink am and small me will go and bring my spoon to join in the enjoyment, abeg no time to be checking time πŸ˜‚.
If you now use better fried fish or sauced fish to drink this garri, na to just face the fan to your direction or open your window, jejely close ya door comot akwa and enjoy ya siesta till one annoying neighbour knocks on your door to command borrow matches πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ.

This soaked garri is for masters students o. Just give me garri, water and sugar πŸ˜‚ My issue with garri here in Canada is chewing sand. Very off putting.

LOL, I drink this with 3 sachets of peak powdered milk only. I can't stand it with coconut and groundnut together. If I must, it's going to be without milk and one item. Weird, I know LMAO

When I was in boarding school, we used to rinse the garri, soak in water and then wait. A fairly long time, on occasion, until it had swelled enough to feed the number of us waiting to eat. We'd add sugar, and if available, roasted groundnuts. The addition of dessicated coconut and milk powder seems quite classy. I'll try it some time!

When making my asoki, I first add plenty water and decant. In that process, I will remove all the unwanted particles in thar garri. After that, I will proceed to put milk and other ingredients I will use to make the asoki.

If my mum see you drinking garri without milk she will beat you cause she said drinking it without milk will cause you to have poor eyesight but the milk can prevent it 🀣🀣🀣

Lol. And wow! I have so much to say. Where do I start from…
    1. If they say water don pass garri, then I will say this one milk don pass gari o. Lol.
    2. We jinxed when you said if you put the water now after just warming it, "it will turn to eba" I laughed hard when we said it at the same time. So true.
    3. I was so wowed at the dry frying idea. What a brilliant idea indeed. Kudos to Chinwendu whom you got the idea from.
    4. I am just smiling how someone so tired from lectures has time to do all this serenre for the preparation of this cereal. But I understand the video. And I love it and your very down to earth approach to matters. Yes only ignorant people believe gari drinking is for poor people.

Thanks for the wonderful entertaining and enlightening video. It's time to go shopping for some coconut..

Blessed asoki saving lives since thy kingdom come. Thank you Flo for reminding me of my boarding school days. I have the yellow garri and I will try replicating this. I used to do soak and travel back then in boarding school. Thank you for sharing.
