Boneless chicken breasts
Barbecue sauce
Potatoes, chopped
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Onion, diced
Salt and pepper
A bit of olive oil
frozen corn on the cob
plenty of foil

Instructions

Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
Pour on some barbecue sauce. You don’t want to add too much, because the goal is to have as little liquid as possible in the bottom of the pot.
Stir the potatoes, a bit of olive oil, onion, cheese and salt and pepper together in a bowl.
Make a large packet out of foil and wrap the potatoes in it, loosely.
Wrap each corn in foil.
Place the potato packet on top of the chicken. Add the corn.
Cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 7-8.

Delicious. Consider putting corn in a little later if you are at home to do so

I wanted to see the chicken with the sauce on it. I dont think it is such a great idea to put foil in your slow cooker. put the stupid veggies in the oven.

Hi a Brit here fairly new to slow cooker. I hated bbq sauce for years, found it so sickly. Then my partner bought a bottle of "Newman's Own" bbq sauce and I am now devoted to that. I am going to try your recipe probably using parchment in place of foil. I bought mini corn shaped corn pins to eat my corns and they are so cute and useful. I have tried slow pork roast in my pot and a whole baby chicken which was amazing. And slow chilli con Carne was so intense and moreish. Traditional curry is taken to another level as the slow process lets the spices develope and penetrate the meats. Thanks.

Would be nice with some carrots, whole in large chunks, wrapped in a foil packet and butter added to the packet. They are probably better than that corn and the time for the "baked carrots" would work well. Carrots go well with BBQ.
