I love Congee when you are sick. I lived off of it while I was sick for about a week with my "lovely" viral infection. Much better than chicken noodle soup. Great comfort food all around thanks for sharing. Hope you are feeling better now. Take care!

Going to suggest you do not leave the rice paper in the water! Just take it and “swish” it in the water once and start assembling. By the time you finish folding, it should be the perfect softness

You don't have to justify what you eat! It is okay to eat more than usual or less healthy than usual–you do not have to explain to anyone 🙂

Your soups always look so delish. I love how the broth brings so much flavor to the veggies, especially when you dunked the steamed broccoli! We hope you’re feeling better. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹. PS 💕 the slurping soup 🍲 sounds… makes me always wish I had a bowl 🥣 in front of me to join you !

My husband kids me that I’m really Asian because I could eat like this at every meal. Rice and tofu forever! 😄 I’m glad you are feeling better. Self-care is so, so important! Looks like you were very nice to yourself. I wanted to say that I love the wallpaper behind you! It’s so beautiful! Thank you for the video, Rose.

Fun fact! : bell peppers contain more vitamin c than an orange! I eat them like apples because they’re delicious but I guess that’s just an added benefit haha

This video came at the perfect time as I am not feeling well either. I made myself some chickpea noodle soup and enjoying eating it while watching this video! I also made congee the other day with carrots, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms, green onions, and furikake on top. Love your videos, hope you are feeling better! ❤️

love all the food choices! Soft tofu actually have only 5-7g protein per serving… at least the ones I've seen, so not a great protein source, maybe add some other protein to the meals!
