    Cant wait to try this. Love watching & listening to your cheery & comforting voice. However, what is it with you Jamaicans & scotch bonnet peppers? They're way too hot for me. I'm Italian & will be sticking to Peperoncino .

    Just add some Stewed Mince Meat (ground beef) on the side and you're good to go. Even better when you put Steamed Cabbage and Minced Meat in a Fried or Roast Bake.

    Just a side note:

    You didn't let the oil heat enough before putting the garlic and onions. I always let my garlic burn a little before adding the other ingredients. Love that burnt garlic aroma.
    Also, as cabbage takes up a lot of volume at first, I would use a deeper pot than what you used.
