I tried this today as a birthday cake and, it turned out amazing. I melted the chocolate (50% dark and 50% plain milk chocolate with butter and about 2 Tbsp oil) on a double burner, pre-heated the oven, and, baked at 225 degree C for 13 minutes in a 2 lb bread loaf tin, dusted with cocoa powder. I let it rest for about 10 minutes in the tin itself before taking it out and decorating. Decorated with strawberries and icing sugar 🙂 I am someone who doesn’t know baking much and, have only made simple sponge cake before & that too only thrice in my life so far!! It was a hit! Thank you chef!! 🙂

HI, I tried, and it tasted great, but now I want to decrease the number of pots to make, Can I bake half the ingredients, as it seems like a lot of chocolate and stuff? for 2 people how? I am still learning how to bake, and unsure about following ingredients to the proper ratio for fewer people, so wish to ensure the final end baked good is still delicious.
