Hello FB, LA food truck with some nice friends looked fun. BBQ lamb is winter food for most Chinese in the old days. They were in stew for warmth. Liked how it came up as a favorite. Best veggie skewer for me is garlic. Those combo taste good. Elle for V sign afar

I would say that most Chinese food in US are actually Taiwanese food. I am not making a political point of anything. The thing is, modern Taiwanese food is a blend of many different streams of mainland Chinese food and local dishese. In China, each region's food is segregated and relatively uninfluenced by other regions' food. In Taiwan, all those different regions' food from China as well as local Taiwanese food are put together and influencing each other, very much like a melting-pot of different traditions.
