Jennifer at A Country Life has done some detailed videos of making pie crust and pies, even on how she does the edges. I’ve learned so much from her. Pie crust used to make me say bad words- I just couldn’t get it. Now I use her recipe that has an egg and vinegar in it, and it is so much easier to work with and turns out great.

I cannot make a good pie crust to save my life! I keep to frozen ones on my freezer. I give my kiddos a multi vitamin. I raised them on taster bites. Then they could eat what ever else we had for dinner. There was always something they would like on the table even if it was bread and butter. My autistic son and his sensory issues, that is another story. But we encourage him to try different things. As he is getting older he is growing more adventurous with that.

Tiffany thank you for showing the good, bad, and ugly of your kitchen because it makes me feel normal because my kitchen is a train wreck I have clean dishes in the dishwasher 2 sinks of dirty dishes to go into the dishwasher a couple of big skillets that need to be washed a floor that needs to be swept and mopped, trash needs to be taken out so I guess today I will get it all cleaned up I currently have 3 teenagers all sick and home. I love keeping those mixed vegetables in my freezer I use them so much. I hope you have a wonderful week.

I saw the chocolate syrup on your counter and I just had to share my grandmother’s super easy dessert recipe. She called it “chocolate snowball.” It’s just one cup of chocolate syrup mixed well with one cup of milk and one cup of water. You stir it well and freeze it overnight in an 8×8 baking dish. Then just cut it into strips or small chunks to serve. It’s similar to chocolate Italian ice, but so easy and affordable and really refreshing in the summer (or any time). She always had it in the freezer and would sometimes top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
