I made this. I am searching for a recipe the replicated my Italian grandma. This is close, but she did not use peppers, but she did use big chunks of celery, which this recipe did not have. I am missing a spice or a flavor. It maybe white wine.

I really like the simplicity of this recipe. Some has too many ingredients so I tend not to make it but this one turned out great and I had all the ingredients on hand😁 It really is getting harder to think up what to make each day since the kids are now young adults and with more discerning taste. It was easier when they were younger. My other go-to video of yours is the Beef Rendang in the Instant Pot. That is always a success. Thank you!

This looks like a "winner" for me. Never thought to try this in my IP, but time is of the essence for many of us, and I will definitely cook this tonight. Thanks for your video. Sorry Dude, my family is all Italian, both from the northern and southern regions, have prepared this dish countless times, and never once can I remember adding olives into it! However, when it's your kitchen, you can do whatever makes you happy.

This sounds good. I always make this in the crockpot. My kids come home to a house that smells amazing and a dish that does too. I will try this in my Ninja Pressure cooker and I will let you know how it goes. Thanks!

If I used tomato puree instead of whole tomatoes would you suggest adding some additional water? if so, how much. The puree would also provide a thicker sauce. Not a fan of whole or diced tomatoes.
