I just enjoyed watching your video. Although it’s 11:30 pm here in Mississippi now I had to get up and go to my kitchen and put some chicken on in the crockpot. I’ll be trying this recipe out tomorrow. Thank you so much for sharing. Take care, stay safe, love you, God bless

I use breast meat cause I don’t like dark meat..when I take the chicken out to shred,I add a stick of butter to the water salt pepper, then I make my dough and do drop biscuits.my broth is thicker than what yours is.it’s creamy and yummy…and the o dumplings r big and fluffy..my husband just said he wants dumplings cause the weather feels like fall this week..

Hi jan🙋‍♀️ it's always wonderful to see you. Omg!!! That looks so good I could almost taste it. I love the dumplings I don't care for the meat neither. The dumplings and broth is good enough for me. Thanks for sharing. God bless you. Stay well. Delicious👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I like to add summer savoury and a touch of garlic powder to my biscuit dough.

I love chicken and dumplings! But I work a 6-day week, 50-60 hours plus drive time. I don’t always have the time to make it the way I learned. So I cheat a little (ok a lot) and pick up one of those “broasted” chickens at the store, use 2 boxes of low-sodium broth and a can or two of cream soup, and Bisquick for the dumplings. As a young bride in North Carolina more than 45 years ago, I learned to make this wonderful meal from my neighbour. I’m sure she would come after me with her wooden spoon if she knew how far I have fallen from what I was taught!! LOL. But, as any chicken and dumplings lover knows, when that craving strikes a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. Blessings to you Ms Jan and to all who pass this way

Hello, and Many Blessings to you Mrs. Jan! Chicken and dumplings is one of my favorite meals, my Father is from Henderson N.C, he used to make the best chicken and dumplings, and my neighbor always brings me a big bowl, when she makes it! Thank you for sharing your absolutely delicious recipe of chicken and dumplings, I did notice that you didn't wash and clean your chicken, I always clean and wash all my food, before cooking it!🙏🏽🤗👍🏼👍🏼

Hey, Jan🥰. Thank you so much for sharing your version of chicken and dumplins! I pretty much make mine the same way, except I don’t add veggies or canned soup, and my dumplins are not as stiff and I drop them with a spoon. Just plain old chicken and dumplins like my Tennessee hillbilly mama did, and they are wonderful 🥰. I am sure yours are wonderful, too ❤️. I might switch mine up, once🙂💕🌻
