I love pinto beans. I grew up eating what my family could afford. We never went hungry. Young people need to know how to cook these cheaper meals, since food is getting so expensive.

I take a picture of the shelf now because now more than ever the shelf price and register price are two different prices. , I get the excuse that prices are changing so fast they cannot keep up. I go directly to customer service and show them the pic of shelf price. ALWAY check the price… THANKS for bring up this matter

We use a foodie, works great. We have discovered abb beans are a cause of leaky gut. Have cut back on eating beans. That is the kind we do like
I make my beans with smoked turkey, onion, garlic. After washing my beans I soak them overnight, then rinse again and put my other ingredients in (smoked turkey wings – just two – and the garlic and onion) and like you Nettie – let them cook!

I have the 6 quart and a 2 qt and I cook beans in my smaller one..it’s $9.98 cause that’s what I paid for mine…

Walmart is notorious for charging us higher than floor price. Most people don’t look @ the receipt and when we do we don’t have time to keep then take the dang receipt back and fight (get in line) for our $1. They certainly wrong for that. Why they don’t charge us cheaper?
