Nice one Tim! I'm always on the lookout for camping food ideas from the supermarket shelves. I'm far too cheap to buy the stuff from camping shops unless I really have to! 😁 Like the look of the dried fruit, and the peanut butter bars👍 Will keep an eye out for them in Aldi over here in the UK. Season's greetings to you👍😊
I’ve been wanting to do a video like this for sure! Unfortunately there isn’t an Aldi video around but I want to do one from Dollar Tree! Do you think it would work from some cheap place like that?
LOL good stuff you found. I need to spend more time and look a little more. I've gotten a lot of the stuff you did, but a lot I missed. Liking the humor man!
Great ideas, Tim. I head to the dollar store often for backpacking snacks and other foods. They actually have a great selection. Cool video. Take care.
Aldi is definitely a favourite of mine to pick up some cheap eats!! And especially camping food! But being lightweight is definitely important, I made the fatal mistake of carrying way too much before, it really makes a difference! Great video as always my friend!
Awesome snack options and I see that it's important to return to Aldi. Senior Rico 😂 Loving the dry hoot approved fruit options. I got the same hot cocoa. I had those steaks before too. Real good. Bologna 😂. Those bars look great. Peanut butter. Yum. Yes you sound like an Aldi cashier 😆
Aldi is great. Our daughter works there and they are a good employer too. Fine products and some good ideas here! It’d be great if they sold pot too but that’s probably a few years off. 😄
I wish we had Aldi out here (hopefully someday), but it’s nice how many stores nowadays have foods that make sense for backpacking. Trader Joe’s is my favorite, especially their soft and juicy mangoes.
I am always looking for new things to try when out on the trail. When I went for my first time with MaryAnn it was hard because she doesn't eat much. So I had to come up with my own ideas.
Bro! Checkout the "Specially Selected Smoked Gouda MacnChees! It's the 💣 💣 💣! Just add water too! Powdered milk and butter included. Comes in a box but the food is in a sealed pouch. Their version of a cliff bar is the best too!
Food, glorious food!! Lost of options and not a fortune! We don't have ALDI in my part of the world, but all these in various brands can be found here too! Otis is very partial to peperoni! 😁 Bruce and Otis
Extra special work! You have a brilliant ideas to share. Keep it up and congratulation on a content well created! Looking forward to more amazing content.
I need to have a look.theres a aldi just around the corner from me.thanks for the suggestions, I will try some things out. I hope they have that peanut butter bar. I want one. Never knew there was aldis in USA. Do they have a lidl aswell??. Great vid Tim
Ya I am always keeping my eyes peeled while shopping, trying to find items that could be used for backpacking that are tasty/easy/different etc. We had a streak where we were going to Aldi regularly… not so much lately! Maybe thats a flaw in our food acquisition strategy!! Great tips!! And now I'm intrigued by the Buckley approved bars!! ….Normally 300 calories packed into something small doesn't work out well for me though! 😞
Me: *Sees Hawaiian Stuffing Mix; loses mind with excitement; opens Maps to find closest Aldi; becomes crestfallen when realizes there are no Aldi stores in the PNW*. Great video as always, Tim.
Great choices. Grocery stores are the best places to find great backpacking food. Thanks for the shoutout. I do love steaks over a campfire 😁😁 Thank goodness I didn’t see Mountain House in this video 😂😂
I picked up a Land O Lakes 6 flavor sample collection of the hot chocolate in Costco last year. It is by far the best I've had and part of my winter food bag.
We don't have an Aldi here but Dollar Tree is a great place to pick up backpacking food for cheap.
That blood orange should taste like drinking the blood of my enemies or I'm not interested😁. Some pretty good finds there however I was distracted by your sticker board and noticed something……..😪
Yes! Aldi is a great resource. They have great stuff. I haven't tried the freeze dried fruit. That will be my next purchase. Nice looking purple sticker behind you. I heard that guy is a turd though…lol Crow
TANG PUREKICK?!!!! Thanks Captain ALDI! Now, I have to make a special trip to try out all your suggestions. Thanks for helping me re-find my passion for Rockstar Drinks and now, I can only imagine where this rabbit hole of suggestions goes. Off to ALDI I go!
I love Aldi! You can't beat those prices on backpacking food and everyday food. Great video! There are for sure affordable food options out there for sure. Dollar Store and Dollar General always have some great options. Another informative vid my friend! ~RVA~
Thank you for the Aldi review. I like the couscous too. Quick easy meal with salami, pepperoni or chicken. Press on.

Love Aldi❤️I’m totally gonna try the Perfect Bar! Señor Rico is in my fridge now lol yum
I only have one comment…Aldi in the UK sucks!!
No Aldi near me in Eastern Washington that I know of but we have "big lots" where I have found lots of interesting stuff to eat.
great video as always Tim. no Aldi over here in Canada but some great ideas here forsure.

I've been hiking/backpacking for 48 years now and I still go cheap. The only thing I read on labels is carb content. Good video Tim.

That's great bro
Great finds, Buckley! I definitely remember the Hydrox cookies…lol! Good ol' days!! 😁
Great content! Thanks!
I will check out Aldi's! I 👍👊

Great video. I love that stuffing! It's sooo good. But you can only get it this time of year🥺 I need to go stock up.

We don’t have Aldi in the PacNW.
Is it like a Trader Joe’s?
Lots of great options there too.
Going to Aldi's tomorrow to find some of those bars, the Stroopwaffels, and beef sticks! LOL

The karate kicks were the perfect touch. I've never shopped in an Aldi, but have taken many similar items up in the mountains. Take care, bud.
A Buckley Taste Test is a tough hurdle! I trust you completely with backpacking food recommendations!
And if I can save some bucks, I'm all in!
Great video. I'm with your friend Hoot ( no added sugar) about to go on this no sugar challenge next year…😜

Yeah, I hit up the Aldi from time to time. Def some good items there and the prices are solid.

Never heard of Aldi, but I am always down for saving money on food. A penny saved is a penny toward the next adventure.
If it’s “100% Buckley Tested” it’s got to be good!

Love Peanut Butter! For sure going to check those out. AND those beef sticks. We are doing a small trip this weekend and I might have to stop by!
Very good video my friend
Great finds Tim! It's been a while since I've been to Aldi. I'll have to stop by.
I haven't thought about Aldi. I'll look into it and Lidl too.

Quite the snack selection Tim. To bad Aldi is not close to my location.
Aldi definitely has some great deals. My wife always gets annoyed with me because while shopping I’m always looking for new backpacking ideas. 👍🚐😎✌️
