Happy Belated birthday Cindy! Sorry you aren’t feeling well. Enjoyed this video, I am now going to have to watch the documentaries on the MLM’s. I remember being pressured by friends to join Mary Kay, Tupperware, Amway, etc. I think I even bought the Avon starter kit once upon a time. You are right about your makeup, it is your style. We should do whatever feels right for us. Get well and hugs to Poppy.
I have a few people I know involved in different MLMs. It really makes me angry. I think two of them have been super successful (at least I hope so) but I really think it’s an evil rip off that lures women in with the promise of “easy” money. 😡. One of them left the paralegal field to be a SAHM (honestly I think the real reason is bc her husband was moving up in his employment) and the other works SUPER hard at her job and has a lot of money making irons in the fire.

The CDC advises taking 3 Covid tests 3 days in a row, as they are not reliable. Also, RSV is infecting the elderly this year. It can turn into pneumonia. If you don’t feel better soon, they can test for RSV.

Years ago when my husband and I were in our late 20's, we joined Amway. It was exactly as you described. We maxed out our credit cards in order to keep our status when in fact it was only enhancing those in the upper levels of our line. We stayed in about 4 years and quit but it took us several years to dig out of debt. I know someone in Isagenix who, I am sure, is investing so much money and I would bet receives very little commissions. I'm glad you tested negative for Covid. My hubby and I finally got it after 2 1/2 years last month. Thankfully, we were protected and while it knocked us out, we were better after 6 days. Feel better.

Whatever you do, never go into MLM because you will not make money for yourself, you will make other people money. I've been up close with three MLM and I regret it. They are all registrered in Hong Kong and owned by Chinese, do your due diligence and you'll find out.
A marketing teacher I had said that if you go into MLM, you got to be prepared to get a new set of friends. You will lose your present ones if you try to involve them in your MLM and every conversation will be about the MOM, all "business" and "support".

God bless you for getting a puppy! You are so sweet with Poppy, but I don’t see how you do it. Our sweet Gus, a Boykin spaniel, is 14, blind and deaf and when we lose him we are done. At our age taking care of a senior dog takes a lot of dedication, but there is no way I could take care of a puppy.
OMG Cindy, you have not lived until you have tried a netty pot for your sinuses! I am only kidding. My hubby and sister-in-law insisted that I use it when we had Covid. I swear I thought I was going to drown! Never again!!
