I made this for christmas a few years ago. I did not use a sourdough starter but think that would make it better. I made babka last year which is braided and includes chocolate. Really good! I may make both this year.

If I wanted to make a loaf or 2 up in advance… can I FREEZE it after you make the Braid… remove from freezer and thaw… then allow for the SECOND rise… and then bake? Thank you in advance! <We NEED Smellavision >
