I've watched your videos for a very long time now. You've mentioned Josh's Dutch heritage but I don't recall you mentioning yours. I'm Irish and unfortunately my family didn't pass down any family recipes.

I love you sharing these dutch traditions! My husband's family is Dutch, however they don't have any Dutch traditions. This is because Grandpa (his parents came to the US from the Netherlands, and their kids were born after they got here) was orphaned in the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic. He was too young to remember much, and so the only Dutch thing he passed down was his name. My dad lived in the Netherlands for a few years when he was a young adult, so I grew up with more Dutch traditions than my in-laws 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I was so worried when you were rolling out the pastry with your coffee right near the edge, and the rolling pin kept getting really close to the cup. Also. I just thought as you don’t seem to be ever sharing baby’s name, maybe you should make up a nickname that we can know him by it, so it’s a bit more personal for us the viewers. Even if you use baby’s middle name.
